In the embroidery technique it has 2 steps are very important process: it is appliqué cutting before embroidery, and appliqué cutting after embroidery.

Traditional processing technique is adopting knife mould, which easily results in flocky edge on the fabric, and the precision will be limited by knife mould, irregular patterns is difficult to be processed, and the knife mould making need long time, and high cost, so it has restricted the development of appliqué embroidery.

And the material cutting after embroidery mostly adopts heat cutting method, using this method cutting, cut edges has big gap and the border is yellow and rigid, which is difficult to be processed again.

Irregular graphics depend on the manual cut, which is easily loosening the brim, becoming waste.

So it needs much advanced processing format to replace the traditional appliqué cutting before and after embroidery.

The laser-processing format belongs to the heat process, too. But laser has high focusing features, and the shooting facula is very finespun, the thermal diffusion area is small, so it’s very suitable for textile fibre material cutting, and the processed materials are much wide, the cut is very smooth without flocky, auto brim collecting, no distortion, the graphics can be designed and output at will, no need knife mould, etc. So, using the laser to process the appliqué cutting before and after embroidery has been regarded as the accepted development trending in the embroidery field.
